Sep 22,  · Cars, Candy-O, and Panorama is a logical creative progression. What followed was a logical creative regression, a stasis, indeed for a while a highly successful commercialization. For several years I considered Panorama the best in much the same manner that Relayer by Yes was the best, the pinnacle of creative exploration. In subsequent years, though, I have simply enjoyed the first three Cars.

Oct 06,  · I was less familiar with this album, but I am a big fan of The Cars and wanted copies of all their albums. The third of their albums, Panorama, was perhaps not as popular as the rest but does have a few hits like “Touch And Go”, “Gimme Some Slack” and “Don't Tell Me No”. Overall it is a solid album and has that classic “Cars sound”/5().

Roy Thomas Baker was a perfect match as producer for the Cars. The Cars brought the entire package and RTB polished it up. I highly recommend anyone who ever heard of the cars, never heard of the cars, loved the cars in the 80's whatever. The Album itself it awesome, the added tracks are worth the purchase even if you already have Panorama/5(66).

Panorama was The Cars' third album, released in , following their first two successful releases, The Cars in and Candy-O in If you read reviews of the album, two things will strike you. The first is that most of the critiques written when it was first released were significantly more negative than the reviews had been for either of its two predecessor LPs, or for either of the.
